I read this on eye in the sky web today. What was this guy smokin? I thought bees went dormant!

?January thaws are always a mixed blessing and curse. Naturally the skiers don’t find as much pleasure and delight as they would with a fresh foot of powder, though it can certainly be more comfortable to ski. But think of the honey bees, who require a mild day or two each month to get outside briefly to rid themselves of internal waste products - in other words go the bathroom."
