I noticed a convoy of power company trucks heading north in NJ yesterday. Must be a good amount of work to be done. Last time we had a mess around here it was a crew from Oklahoma that got us up and running.

we passed a few New Jersey crews working on Route 9 in VT late yesterday. We also spotted a convoy of Texas utility trucks heading up 91 at the Mass VT border. Deep drifts and trees down everywhere. RTs 100 and 112 around colrain and Jacksonville were closed for a while yesterday.

Nice spring day today at Berkshire East. Summit Quad not running all day so fresh corduroy on the top unload at 3:30 pm, took the opportunity to go straight down under the lift rather than having to cut in from the side.

I skied here the last weekend of Feb - girlfriend and I really enjoyed it and was an easy trip from the northern Philly burbs. Stayed in Lenox and only 3.5 hours for us after work on Friday and easy drive home on Sunday.

Considering BEast as an option for Sun as more likely to soften than places further north. Key question is if they have enough base to be decent after rainy Fri-Sat. Thoughts?

Are they even open on sunday? I was considering using an Indy day Sunday to stay further south like you, but can't seem to make a reservation past Saturday?

I spoke to customer service. They confirmed they plan to be open for their last day on Sun April 2nd and assured me that IndyPass reservations will not be needed as there are plenty available

Went to Berkshire East for a couple hours this afternoon after the rain. Coverage still great, it’s a shame they are closing tomorrow although they left hope for an “encore event” next weekend
