Hey All,
I'm back from a fun session at Big Boulder. I arrived around 3:35PM and Atomic Jeff arrived at the same time. Phillycore was also in the parking lot. Temperatures were in the upper 20s and the snow guns were turned off. We booted up and secured our free lift tickets with 10 cans of food. Runs open were freedom park and Little boulder trail..both served by their own lifts. Wow I'm spoiled riding the 6-pack at Blue..the lifts at Big Boulder are so freaking slow. We ended up being first chair and the snow conditions were groomed hardpack..very grippy snow and fast..After a few runs Noxidee joined our crew and then Dan and T. Maki for a few runs..We also saw Librider with some girl. After almost 2 hours and thirteen 200 vertical foot runs I had my fill. There were a decent amount of people on the trail and I definitely weaved the noodle a few times. When I left it was snowing with a temperature of 22 degrees. props to Big Boulder for getting open so quickly..it looks like Big Boulder trail will be open tomorrow with some booters along with bunny schuss. Definitely a nice bonus session...and a nice warmup for Hunter on Sunday..it feels so good that the PA ski and ride season has begun..JEA!!!!
