I woke up at 4 this morning to pee and decided to check my 'woots' before turning back in.

I find that my Kelty Redwing does very well at handling skis. Just strap them on the sides and tuck the tails of the skis into the pockets and voilah...you're off!

Try Backcountry.com directly. Steepandcheap is a "side" company of theirs...same cust serivce reps, etc.

Backcountry marks it up SLIGHTLY and sells it off quick on steep...I am pretty sure you're not getting "first run" this years model stuff off steep...I've bought a few things and never cared to look to see if they were last years model or discoutinied...didn't care...the prodcut was good...the price was STELLAR and thats all I need...

My wife cleaned up on that recent run of TNF sports apparel a few weeks back. She even got their trail runners too. She says their so comfortable she even wears them at the gym.
Everything that I've checked out and/or bought has been the previous year's model. Which is no big deal to me, as long as it works.SkiDog said:

Actually, I did! She'll like the pink. Maybe she'll actually use goggles now. She's a fair weather skier who likes to go slow and usually keeps them on her head but not over her eyes. TB.......good gift for Mrs. TB....
The price is right on that one.

I hear ya, my man. Technically speaking she's a solid skier. She's just real timid while skiing. Towards the end of the season I think she she finally "got it" that blues are safer than crowded and skied off greens. I'm looking to get her into a multi-day clinic next season to build confidence. In my minds eye, I use Mrs. ALLSKIING as a goal of where I want her to be someday. They have similar personalities off the slopes but Mrs. ALLSKIING tears it up big time with two boards under her feet.
