Haven't heard of anything but I think it should be high priority too.

It sounds to me like they were doing things that normal ski resorts often do and the neighbors don't like it.I have yet to see any recent updates on the Black / Sheriff showdown, but this article goes into a lot more detail and provides the closest thing to concrete evidence the cop isn't just totally blowing smoke.
States that 82 residents complained to the Selectboard via a petition. That's almost 10% of the voting age population for that town. A significant number IMO.

Jackson selectmen address Black Mountain noise complaint petition
JACKSON — Addressing neighbors’ concerns about what they perceive as excessive music noise at Black Mountain, Jackson selectmen last Tuesday — after meeting with ski area representatives and townspeople —www.laconiadailysun.com

The 82 complainers signed a petition, they did not complain directly to the police. The petition organizer probably hung out at the local grocery store asking people to sign if they were against increased traffic and noise. It's very strange for people to complain to the police if they aren't being impacted negatively by noise or traffic. That's why I want to learn more about it.
Yeah, I've never thought petitions really held much merit but I could be completely wrong about that. The 82 complainers signed a petition, they did not complain directly to the police. The petition organizer probably hung out at the local grocery store asking people to sign if they were against increased traffic and noise.
Are you saying they will try and complete these projects before opening day for the upcoming season?I was back at Black yesterday and the amount we have to do is staggering. I won't try to steal their thunder on details but at least on the snowmaking side the upgrades will be phenomenal. New feed line to the top, pipe replacement for several trails, and 3 new trails will get coverage (1 for sure, 3 total if time allows.)
Maybe they should hire a few more people....Yes but time will tell if it all gets done this year, it's a lot of work.
Roughly 10 weeks till snowmaking start. They will need a small army to get all this done in that time frame.Yes but time will tell if it all gets done this year, it's a lot of work.
