Yep, I finially got to go skiing today, felt good. First time since my shoulder injury. Still not quite up to par....was kinda afraid I'd reinjure myself so I took it real easy. Started on some greens, man I haven't been on greens in a long time and did some blues. Kept looking at the blacks, but decided not to yet. I'm a little sore tonight still, but just glad that I got a chance to get back out there.

I have to say that I like Black Mountain and would to really give it another go, when conditions are a little better, me too. ;) We've been skiing the bigger mountians for quite a while and actually have been getting a tired of the crowds. Im liking checking out some of the smaller mountains these days. They are not quite as challenging as the bigger mountains, but I'm okay with that. I was want to cruise the trails and have fun.

Of course I didn't start this year out so great, but when I'm better watch out! JK

I have different moods nowadays when I ski. I can easily ratchet down to a lower key day and enjoy what places like Black have to offer. I'm blown away that Black is kinda crappy, while Wildcat, with just a few more feet of el. is sitting pretty. Glad you got back outside and enjoyed the day.
