Yes, I have skied it 5-6 times already. The conditions are good. There is a nice base on Blue, and the upper and lower trails have been fun. They seem to still be doing a lot of work up there while open. They have been installing new pole snowmakers this week, and the magic carpet last week.

Check it out, the management is putting out a good product this year.

Good to hear. It'd be too bad for that one to hit NELSAP.

I was meaning to create a post along similar lines. Driving down route 128 yesterday morning, they were blowing snow on the main slope and one of the side trails (something prior ownership never did). I spoke with the new BH folks at the Boston ski show and they are from NJ - operate a similar sized business outside of NYC they said. They told me that they were able to extend the lease from a 1year to multi (5 maybe if memory serves me right). This allows them to plan for the Long Term. This Fall there was a good amount of activity both in the base and rental buildings and maintenance on the snow-making equipment and lift (which I believe they told me they basically had to re-build!).

Really hope it works for them - there is a huge market on the south shore and southeast mass for an easy access area. As we've discussed in other threads, it's the life blood of the larger areas IMO. It's where I started skiing in an after school program 32-33 years ago! Good Luck!

Just drove by - night skiing on what looks like 3 trails tonight. Their night skiing is awesome, IMO. Get out there now before it all melts next week. Yikes.
