Resort or Ski Area: Blue Mountain
Conditions: Soft bumps everywhere
Trip Report: I was working outside of Philly yesterday, and wanted to get March started off right, so once I was done, I took I-476 up to Rt 22 and then 309 into Blue. I hit major traffic all the way there and didn't arrive until 6pm. Once I got on the mountain, I could see huge bumps on Falls, Razor's and Challenge. No lift lines and I could see from the lift that everything looked really soft and slushy.
Every trail was pretty much bumped up and the snow was pretty fast. Razor's Edge had bumps that were larger then Challenge. I actually found these pretty enjoyable to ski. I though to myself that they could just leave Razor's alone until Saturday and just use that for the comp. Main Street bumps are about the size of Cooper Mini's.
