Blue Mountain 3/18/10 - Warm and Sunny

Trip Report: What a gorgeous day to go skiing. It was 71*F when I left home and a very sunny 68*F when I arrived at Blue Mountain. I cracked open a beer and quickly booted up. Pulled my ear flaps out of my helmet and left my goggles in the car. Man did it feel soooo good to be skiing with a warm breeze on my face under sunny skies. There's a sink hole on Paradise and a few sketch spots here and there, but otherwise the base is holding up really well. At least 2-5 feet everywhere.

Nice pics as usual. I was there too after work, we must have the same boss ;-)

Skied 5:30-8:30. My legs where a bit whipped. Mainly stayed on the bumps at main st.

I'll have a cooler in the car, and a 1-2 on me at all times. Might make for a bit of walking but hey...

Valley Lodge will be open this weekend. That makes getting out to the car a while lot easier!
