We woke up to a couple of inches overnight and it snowed throughout the day, it started to pick up around noon and now its coming down heavy. We picked up at 1-2 inches since this morning and my partner in crime and I decided to hike it for a third day in a row. We hiked up binney lane into willoughby and made it about 3/4 to the top. The groomers were out in force and they groomed all of the lower mountain which made it nice and fast on our way home. Once we got to willoughby there was about 1-2 feet of powder all untouched, and we saw no tracks. They hadnt groomed willoughby and it made for a rough hike up for someone out of shape like me but slowly but surely we made it up to the intersection with Bear Den. There we decided to let it rip and it was spectacular, a ton of fun. The snow started to come down heavier and heavier as we hiked up and now outside looks like there is a blizzard. The mountain looks in really good shape for opening day this Saturday and it should be a blast.
