Conditions: PP, 1" new wet snow from last night, upper 30s, cloudy

Trip Report:

Got on the mountain around 12:30... parked right next to the lift terminal which was cool. Took a good 8 runs in a couple hours then headed out. Warm day, with one quick snow shower but otherwise calm.

Only groomers that I hit were Dipper and Willoughby. Dipper was very nice on the sides except on the steepest pitch which had a few slick spots. The new snow from last night really mixed in well due to its wet nature. Willoughby was much more slick.

Hit Doug's Woods which were a little bit slick in a few spots, but again that new snow made it much better than it has been. Even a little inch of snow really helps out with grip when its wet snow. Also hit Doug's itself which had some of the boilerplate exposed, but staying to the side guaranteed the best run. Lower mountain was a little more slick due to a little less snowfall.

Best thing I found was some off map woods down in the East Bowl. Didn't find a single slick spot, some spots were beautiful packed snow while other spots had 1'+ deep powder. If you're heading up there, get off the beaten path a bit. Hopefully we get more snow than rain from this next storm, we'll see.
