....ranked #2 in VT in 2004-05 for increase in value of Primary Homes and Primary Condos at +29.5% with a 2005 Median Price of $117,500.
....ranked #1 in VT in 2004-05 for increase in value of Vacation Homes and Vacation Condos at +78.6% with a 2005 Median Price of $125,000.
For comparison:
For Vermont in general statewide 2005 Vacation Home median is $185k (up 14.6%) and Vacation Condo is $237K (12.7%).
For a resort benchmark (and SB/MRV are very unresort like in terms of mean and median prices compared to Stowe, Ludlow (Okemo), and Stratton).....Washington County (Warren, Waitsfield, Fayston...) was #10 in the first stat (primary) above at +12.2% and a Median of $177K....
....and in the second stat above (vacation) was #8 with +18.8% and a Median of $165k.
For what it's worth, in one Ginn constructed development in FL property assessment values jumped 39% two years ago, and 41% last year.
