Yes, it is.

I think you need to narrow down your criteria, I don't know even know where to start, and some of the criteria seems to cancel other criteria

Do you live anywhere near a Potterbrothers ski shops I highly recommend them the services has been great to me. They have several in Mid Hudson Valley NY, and one at Jiminy Peak, and a new one at Killington. Also backcountry.com steepandcheap.com are very good online shops.

I am surprised that they are not requiring BD Whippet poles for self arresting. These definitely should be on the list.

I feel like some how this thread is going to turn out to be a marketing ploy

I'll take this seriously ... spend some money on good boots. Go to a boot fitter and they can guide you to good boots. Don't worry too much about the other stuff.

- Turn radius 18-22m

Outside of racers, does anyone actually pay attention to the listed turn radii on skis?

I guess it could be useful when differentiating between very similar models, but if they're that similar, than the turn radius would be similar too. There are so many other aspects that are more important, turn radius is pretty much inconsequential.

I think for any one to better help you out, I think height, weight, skier type, east cost vs west, where do you spend you time on the mountain etc. Listing equipment makes it sound like you already know what you want, therefore want other people to research it for you in terms of what fits those criteria. Most websites have filters that will let you pick and choose based on certian criteria.

As someone posted earlier some of the criteria seem like an odd combo. Just the ski alone sounds like you want a short fat ski that is stiff - are you under 5 feet and heavy and ski powder?

Does seem like an odd post!

Pretty radical ski this person is looking for.

The Icelantic Shaman may come close to it.
