camel crickets

Ok,,,,anyone else see these suckers jumping around your house??? We've been seeing more and more of them the past week, really freaking out the wife......also have some little ones in the house....how do i get rid of these pests?????

I have never heard of a "camel cricket", but I found this article very informative, and made me glad I don't have these pests!

Cut the top off of a 2 liter soda bottle. Put a piece of tomato in the bottom, then put the top back on, but inverted, so it looks like a lawbstah trap. The crickets will go in after the tomato, but not be able to get back out of the opening. Set them free in your neighbor's yard (the one you don't like, preferably) 'cos its bad luck to kill them.

They don't have quite the dexterity to jump back out the hole, unless they get REALLY lucky...

I made a cricket trap once by taping duct tape upside down so the sticky side was up on a piece of paper. I don't know what it is, but it works very well.
