Brake lights ahead on Rte. 3 in Mass. this sunny afternoon. Quick scan to the right sees a car down the embankment and up the other side, just about in the trees. Nobody was apparently hurt.

It appears that a flock of geese tried to land on the road. It was quite a mess, with goose bodies scattered across all three lanes.

Not that the geese sacrifice is insignificant, but I felt really bad for the folks in the car who tried to avoid them and ended up with a lot of damage.

Southbound, somewhere between Chelmsford and Carlisle.
OK, further south than she was...but she mentioned something similar up near the border. Don't think there was as much geese carnage.

I've had my share of issues with them in the parking lot at work. Crazy stubborn birds just won't get out of the way. :-x

Good one! The birds that really puzzle me are the ones that insist on walking everywhere and only fly when absolutely necessary. Bird brain!
:spin: Some analogy in there between tele's and those who insist on taking the lift.
