*DROOOOL* check my photos in the Gallery. I'd post the link if I were savy. Sorry.
No wind, every open trail had something carvable, temps in the low 30's...and sunny.
I got there @ 1030 and met with pals @ the summit restaurant @ 11. We skied till 3:15 and were glad for a day of great skiing.
The Ravine trails were fun, Cannon trails were sweet. Rocket was fabulous (as was Gary's, but Rocket was that much better). Profile was just what racers like...edge-able and not bumped up. I did it two or three times.
Let's see...Tramway was another fun diversion.
Banshee was sweet and the only one of the "front three" that I did. In all honesty, I wanted to try Avalanche, but after Profile...I realized how much the trail would take out of me...and by the end of the day, I didn't have enough left in the tank (and with a three hour drive home...).
My season is winding down. I've got a Ride N Rank @ Wa tomorrow. A pending trip to the Cat on Sunday with my sons...and a trip next Thursday to Okemo for an annual season ender (weather dependent). I'll hit Wa when I can till they close, but short of a huge dump up north...I'm probably done as the snow clears and the yard chores pile up.
I'll attempt to add photos later. Apparently I'll have to edit them to keep the file size within "limits".
Anyone with recommendations on how to best post photos (since I've never done it here before), please PM me.
