i would think most physical sciences would require a decent amount of mathematics. perhaps look into a math minor if it is available? you might also consider having a business minor. it may seem unrelated, but i think a business minor works with a broad spectrum of majors across most campuses. i would suspect UVM would have more options for someone undecided? i am not familiar with either college's programs, but larger sized universities generally have more programs available for those undecided going in.

UVM would definitely have a broader set of options if you're undecided, or interested in Environmental Sciences.

Alright a what to major in question:

I want to do something like environmental sciences but that has a math twist. So how can I combine math and the environment. Also combining geography wouldn't be bad, actually it would be super. Even though I liked St. Mikes more I'm thinking that UVM might actually be a better choice for what I'm interested in. :???:

Colby had a 3+2 Engineering Joint Program with Dartmouth. Three years at Colby, 2 years at Dartmouth, graduate in 5 with a degree in Environmental Engineering. Take the PE test and you're golden. Emerging field with solid pay.

I was thinking of doing this as sort of a back way into Dartmouth because I didn't get in. I was big on math, too . . . and I actually had a math minor - not that that really does anything, but hey, I only had to take 5 classes for it because of the AP credits I got from high school.

The best part about college (any college) is the variety of options. Well, that and the student prices on season's passes.
