I have never taken a bus to go skiing. I take that back took one from SLC to Snowbird.

SLC bus is great because it meant for mountain skiers and snowboarders, nyc ski companies just use commuting bus and put skis under in suitcase section, and put on heat but still a way to get to hills without a car.:)

This one not on a bus. Snow storm hitting all of Vermont so I'm headed to Stratton for a powder day, buy my front heating system does not work and nether did the windshield wipers, all I could see out my window was 3 inches from at most and I had a snow removal thing in my hand with the window open. I never made it but I tried for several hours.

Don't have any trip horror stories, more like rituals. Going from Bethlehem PA to VT - 78/287/87/149/4 and then various ways up to SB or Stowe/Jay. Always stop at a great bakery in town to get powdered donuts. Hit the 2nd rest stop on 87 to let the coffee out. Stop at outlets at exit 20. Meet buds from NJ there. Boys pop caps on a couple Long Trails while girls do quick pass looking for bargains. Girls drive from there. Stop at VT welcome center and hoard brochures each year and free Green Mountain coffee. Usually go up I think it's 22 or 7 and cross over by MRG. Had some interesting runs up that gap in 8+" but have 4wd on our little Honda Element so more fun than problems. Nokian tires which I really like. Will be running up a few more times this year than past years so hopefully I can chase a storm up that way.

Looks like Dec 17 for a possible big storm give or take a day at this point. Gentlemen, start your engines.

I have been looking for a good rendezvous spot with my pennsy crew for our Vt trips (they're from north philly area, I'm north central jerzy). Can you leave vehicles at the outlet mall over the weekend?

Regarding storm; think more 18-20th time period. Snowy thoughts! :)

If I knew then what I know now, I totally would have been on the 7 year high school plan. I was mislead with that whole graduate in 4 recommendation.

Your middle school didnt have a ski club? In my district we had 3 middle schools with each filling 3 busses. Then the high school would have 12 or 13 buses depending on the year. So when we went on a trip we rolled in with 21 or 22 busses. At 50 kids per bus, thats 1100+ kids!
