Recent snow got some friends who don't ride much excited to go, and due to our schedules only late night was possible. Was damn cold and the groomed runs were somewhat skied off, but anything ungroomed rode pretty well. There were some small bumps on UFO/Equinox. Rest of the ungroomed was chopped powder and softpack. Not bad given it was 2 days after the storm.

how long did you stay and how were the crowds. did that once, maybe 5 years ago. left the mtn at 1:30 am, was in bed by 2:30 but it was hard to get up the next morning!

Stayed til about 1:30, crowds were non-existent, chairs were going up about 1/2 loaded on the summit lift, hardly anybody on the triple or double. Lift for the park was not running and very few in the park.
Maybe the cold kept people away, not sure.

I wonder what it will be like tonight. (Sunday 1-15) I'd like to get some laps in but Wachusett is just way too crowded.
