Crotched Mountain Running a Two Day Alpine Racing Clinic for Kids 6-14 During Holiday Week

BENNINGTON, New Hampshire — Dave Quigley, Head coach of Crotched Mountain's Junior Racing Program will be running an introductory two day racing clinic for children, ages 7 to 14 on Tuesday, February 22 and Thursday, February 24. The clinic is designed to introduce the basic elements of alpine racing to children who have intermediate skiing skills and who would like to experience the joy of skiing through real alpine racing gates and courses. During the first day of the clinic, coach Quigley will also introduce some of the fundamental building blocks of becoming a strong skier. According to Coach Quigley, "The 2-day clinic will be a great chance for kids who have never been through an alpine racing course to test their skills while having lots of fun."

The clinic is limited to 20 children. Parents can pre-register any time by calling the mountain or by stopping at the ticket window. For more information call Crotched Mountain at (603) 588-3668 or Coach Quigley at (603) 672-7880.
