Heading up to see Zac Brown Band in Hartford Sunday night...would like to hit some great BBQ before hand...does not have to be in Hford proper, we're coming up from Long Island....I grew up in Glastonbury but its been years....any suggestions?

Black eyed Sally's on downtown Hartford has some solid BBQ (and Southern style food in general) as well as a good selection of beverages and definitely a Zac Brown-esque vibe going on

I read somewhere that a new BBQ place opened up on Farmington Ave in Farmington CT, not too far from Hartford. I can't remember the name of the place, but it got good reviews.

This place is Farmington CT is run by a Texas family that recently moved to New England.
