The local skis hop has a pair of these badass boots called Krypton Cross, something about Plake contributing ALOT to their development. Either way on the inside of the right boot, the 2 lower peices of hardware holding the lower buckle, that peice was drilled out too large says the ski shop manager, so he put in place what looks like two 5/16" rivets, possible 1/4"(eek?) that holds that part down, with some washers etc.
NOW, upon trying the boots out theyre the exact size i need, 28.5, but the biggest thing, after walking around and wiggling my right foot around i could NOT feel the slightest interference from the repairs he made. Are these worth it for $200+tax?
i really could use an upgrade form my 7 year old alpina peices that squeek no matter what i tighten up.
Im going to take a better look within the next severla days and make up my mind because theyre really being sold as-is, and unless they break on the first day im sol when they do.
