I say no. If a professional team cant stop another team from scoring 45 points in the first half, they deserve no sympathy.

complaining about #8 passing the ball in the 4th quarter is crazy. If anything, wouldnt you want, whoever the hell that was at quarterback, throwing so you could pick it? I hate the pats, but this time i think they're clean.

offense has sucked all year. I'm surprised Belichik didn't keep Brady in a few more series to work on things

Next week is LAME city though. I hate that the NFL plays in Europe. The league is a cash cow, makes HUGE money. You don't need to try and get some limey bastards to become fans.

If I was paying hundreds of dollars a ticket I would want to see a great game. Thus, they gave the fans a great game in my opinion. It is better than when Francona sat 8 out of 9 of the starters towards the end of the year when they had already clinched the Wild Card. People were calling WEEI and all the sports stations complaing about paying hundreds of dollars to see the Portland Sea Dogs play.

The Tennessee Oily Titans are just that bad this year. I wouldn't even say that the Pats/Brady broke out of their funk today, since the Tennessee team that was on the field today really looked like they had no desire to be there. Jeff Fisher's a good coach, but he's got some serious issues with that team now, and my guess is that Fisher stays, but a good portion of that team goes.

Left at 1/2 time today, not because I was cold/wet (not cold, slightly damp which is impressive given how much it was puking during tailgating ) but unfortunately my wife and I had to go to the emergency vet tonight and have our 11 1/2 year old boxer put down. A bitter sweet day for me to say the least.

Very sory to hear about you pup doc. always tough

Thanks R! Wasn't a very good way to end Brady's record setting 2nd quarter with the phone call I got from my wife. Atleast the both of us were able to be there

Pat's though right where I'm always happy to see them after the 1st 6 games. 4-2 with no key injuries :)

Absolutely not. I don't understand the whole "running up the score" argument. Are teams supposed to stop playing once they get a certain lead? Makes no sense to me. To me, that would be unsportsmanlike. It was also a great opportunity for the backup QB to get some playing time. You never know when you might need him, and I wouldn't waste that opportunity.

Jeff...sorry about the dog.

As for the Pats...NOT running up the score. The D did a great job....and the Titans/Oilers opted not to show.

Did New Orleans run up the score? NO!

You take what you can take. You never know. Did the yanks run up the score in game 3 of the ALCS in 04? I forget how that series turned out. :>
