I'll have a couple of beers during the day from time to time. When I'm in prime spring tailgate BBQ mode, I'll take some runs with a serious glow going. Corn snow is physical enough that I ski it off after a run or two. It's then time to get back to the parking lot to reload.

i typically try to kill a 6 pack on the ride to the mtn. More if its a long ride, like 3 hours or so. that gives me a good base to work with. Immediately upon arriving, i do 2 shots of Jaeger and pull 3 tubes. I'll boot up and then fill my flask with jaeger.

First ride up is 1/2 a joint and two more swigs of jaeger. By now, i'm usually pretty numb and starting to get blurry vision. I like to stay on the more crowded slopes so if i have an accident, someone is there to break my fall.

After 4 or 5 runs, i head in to the bar and have a quick bite and usually 3 or 4 pints. Back to the car to pull 4 more tubes and then off to the park.

At this point i'm usually ready to puke but also completely numb so ensuing yardsales dont hurt much. I tend to swear and sweat profusely at this point, so much so that i notice no one will get on the lift with me. The fact that i'm swinging my poles furiously at the pink elephant in front of me doesnt go over too well with my fellow skiers and riders either. But hey, i paid for my ticket right? I can do whatever i want.
That explains a lot. ;)

That actually annoys me how people smoke grass on lifts with kids around. Plenty of good spots in the woods out of the way.
Me, too. I get really ticked off about that. Guess I'm a goody-goody.

I love how specific you are. ;)

I don't even take breaks normally when I ski since it's usually only a few hours at a time and I want to get as much as possible out of it. I think I've had a beer twice after skiing, otherwise I don't. Then again, it only takes 1 beer to make me loopy these days and I just don't like feeling out of control unless I'm safely home.

GSS:

I'm familiar with your work on another board. Are you coming to CBK with your Blue pass? Good times to be had the next two weekends before closing. The bar at CBK rocks on Saturday nights. (A very satisfied Camelback pass holder)

If Camelback stays open later than Blue then I'll ski there with my Blue pass..Easter Sunday looks like a possibility since Blue is closing the day before Easter...I haven't skied Camelback in two years..it's a fun mountain but the runs are so short compared to Blue and flatten out fast...luckily they have two high speed lifts as well..

I'm looking forward to getting chased by some rangers for fast skiing..

Oh and I doubt I'll be spending any time in the bar at Camelback..

On a bus trip up to Killington several guys on the bus...did way more than that. Must have plowed through at least a 30 pack, starting at 4 am. They never stopped, including the ride home...another 30 pack. Heard they weren't boarding too good on the hill though.
