Does anybody remember "The ski"

My neighbor skied on two pairs of skis in the 70's when he was on the ski team. One set were black while the other where white.............ballet and bumps. I believe they were called "The ski" does anyone have info on this brand or just the correct spelling .... le ski?.. thee ski?......etc. and yes Spademan bindings ripped many of bottoms off of my Scott boots in the 70's.
