Went to the distributor today in anticipation of my wife's family coming to visit. I thought I would share some pictures of this masterpiece as it progressed.

What time should I show up?

9 PM should do it. Greg could take the ferry over to you, then you can head together. Just be sure to bring Bob, I owe him a few Newcastles from the concert in Camden, NJ a few weeks ago.

I also got the Magic Hat Circus Boy .... it's a Hefeweizen, quite tasty.

Fat Angel too.

Fat Angel is good. Not big on that other one. It's okay, but I like others better. Now if you had some Magic Hat HI.P.A in there, I would definitely be hopping on that ferry!

I love the HI.PA, but alas they didn't have any. Magic Hat is tough to come by in any quantity around here.

I think it's a seasonal brew anyway. Spring, I believe.

Yep, I just checked their website...March through May. By the way, that site is a pain in the neck to navigate!

The Magic Hat website does in fact suck. It's one of the worst websites I've ever been on.

I'll take the Blind Faith and Sam Summer. #9 is piss - definitely not one of Magic Hat's better offerings (speaking of which I think Magic Hat has gone downhill in the past couple of years).

I can't make out all of the beers but it looks like you need a stout and porter in that cooler (2 styles of beer that are never out of season for me).

I agree, the only MH I like is the HIPA. This time of year is always tough for me, all the seasonal I like(HIPA, various barleywines, other 'big' beers') move on to seasonals I don't like.. the "summer" beers just don't do it for me. Fortunately Smuttynose is back to producing the robust porter full time again:grin:

When my in-laws come to town I only need one bottle to get me through the weekend - a liter of Wild Turkey 101*.

Saw a Sam Smith's in there - reminds me of Grendel's in Harvard Square from a million years ago. Good brew.
