Interesting I wonder how long ago that was. I have seen snowcats do some amazing stuff on steeper slopes than the JH Hobbacks. With both the front blade and back rotto arm there isn't much these snow cats can't do. Then again I am very glad they do not groom the Hobbacks.I remember reading about the first and last time they tried to groom the Hobacks at Jackson Hole. The head of grooming kept insisting that it would be impossibel. The owner made him try it. The cat started flying straight down, hit a bump and went airborn for a couple of hundred feet. They never bothered again. One hell of an "I told you so".

Neither did the head of grooming. Almost got killed proving it. This was a long time ago and I doubt they would care to try it again. No disrespect intended but groom the Hobacks, I don't think so.
