Maybe Cannon next week after work. Lower trails are starting to get patchy but the upper trails are all 100%. Still easily skiable top to bottom with a few broken patches of walking. Bet those upper trails are skiing like buttah. Perfect untouched spring corn skis wonderfully.

anyone care to give me a visual report on cannon? Also, route recommendations -top to bottom. I'm thinking of skiing there on Saturday. Thanks.

Have not seen Cannon since Sunday but it had good coverage on the Peabody side.I parked at the Peabody lodge and walked up Gremlin to Middle Ravine and booted up Profile.Great cover then at the top.Not too much bare stuff to dodge even down low.I'm sure the cover must be thinner by now.If you go to the top and bring food to cook,we still have a grill at the rock on Taft.Go for it.

Passed Cannon en route to Jay. Peabody slopes did not look very skinable. Front face trails were patchy but mostly skiable. Skinable route available up Banshee but some hiking may be required. Mid-mountain still looks good and upper mountain still 100% edge to edge. After getting skunked on Tuckerman due to Avi danger, we were thinking about hiking Cannon but decided on lift serviced at Jay. What a great choice!

I know SR just closed yesterday so I assume there is still plenty of snow to grab for a week or so. (Tomorrow being in the mid 80's with a chance for t-storms might change that)

Do workers at the resort get pissy when you do this? Never tried but willing to in order to keep the season alive :)
