"You don't want to see your dad dressing up in a wedding dress, waving at you on the bus,"

The boy speaks the truth.

Too funny!
True story.......I missed the bus a lot, knowing that my parents would take me to school. One day my dad took me to school in the Pump Truck(my dad owned a Septic Tank Pumping business). He told me that he'd be happy to take me to school any time I missed the bus.....in the pump truck.

I never missed the bus again. :)

The dad is creative, you gotta give him that. I'm sure the kid is thrilled.

TC - That's pretty funny!

All that work? I just walk within 10 feet of my teen and she wants to crawl under a rock.

I used to hate it. My mom used to always make a big production out of sending us off. Luckily once we hit later grades we would all walk down the road and meet at a bus stop for all the kids in the neighborhood, there wasn't a direct pickup at the house or anything.

My son isn't that way but my daughter sure is. When she gets into dating (in a few years!) I plan on using that attitude to my advantage...
