i dont want to start a new thread and i cant believe this thread fell so far back the board. speaks to our recent shitty weather stretch. :D

i caught the norovirus (holee shit that was wild) and didnt get out for the spring skiing this past weekend, and im itching to get out, and looks like we may have some snow in bound. ive also not been in new england since before mid-feb, so i have no idea the current on the ground state of things.

this weekend - cannon/sunday river/waterville play vs sugarbush/killington/stratton/magic play?
K was pretty awesome this past Friday.

Bluebird spring corn everywhere after 2 days of frozen groomers.

Almost guarenteed to be a bit cool, breezy, and likely some fresh snow at Mount Snow on Saturday AM, if for no other reason than the annual pond skim starts at 11 Saturday AM! :ROFLMAO:

As on of my friends who used to be in the marketing dept of Mount Snow starting back in the ASC days, and is now the GM out at Granite Peak in Wisconsin used to say..... "If you want a cold, snowy day in late March, schedule a pond skim!" and it seems that more years than not, it holds true!

This is what 4 inches does to the lcc roads. They have become so cautious now..they shut the road. Multi hour back ups now.Screenshot_20250322_084935_Chrome.jpg

I last visited snowbird 5 years ago and swore I’d never go back because of the road up. Got a good deal and going in 2 weeks hopefully it’s not a disaster. At least I’m staying up there.

Going into.april it shouldn't be all that bad unless it's a.weekend pow day.

Midwinter as a tourist I would totally ride the bus every time. I honestly wouldn't even bother renting a car just stay on fort union close to a bus stop and Trax. Trax get you downtown and bus right to the lift.

New GM is easy on the eyes!

And she successfully made it across the pond today, even with a little save about 1/2 way across the pond!
