Just want to say before this thread gets put to bed. Interesting winter here in the Northeast. Vermont seemed to get the best of it mostly from Alberta Clipper type storms to the point where the skiing was really good for a good chunk of time. Cold and no January thaw to speak of however one thing that surprised me a little was nothing really wound up and came up the coast. Surprised me a little.

My other skiing home Colorado seemed to have generally a pretty normal year. Cold early allowed early openings and the cover out there in March seemed to be on par with most seasons. Winter Park did well with over 330". I'll let the Utah contingent speak for their location.

Not clear on what next winter will be like. Have heard everything from El Nino to La Nada (No Enso signal). Can only hope for something as good as this one.
