I found a good deal on these. Has anybody skiied these? Compare them to the Monster 88's or Mythic Rider or Elan 888's. Thanks.

soild ski...they're not for the faint of heart, its a pretty burly ride. Sidewalls, woodcore, two sheets of metal...built like a GS race ski but its 90mm wide under foot. They ski well, but want to be skied hard...not the best choice for trees and bumps are pretty much out of the question unless you're a rodeo cowboy in the off season and miss that ride. If you like to blast through crud like a wrecking ball and then go rip GS turns on hard snow they're tough to beat...but if you're looking for a "playfull" ski, keep looking. Skis a lot like the Nordica Hellcat...more ski than the Elan 888...haven't skied the Dynastars so I can't compare.

That is what I thought not the ski i am looking for then. I will proably go with the Monster 88's. I found a pair of those for $499 in the '09 model.
