I'm sure many of you saw this last week. A 57-year old employee at the factory in Austria was tasked with destroying blem skis. Instead he took them home and resold them. 300 pairs of them over an extended period of time. He was selling them for as little as 50 Euros each pair.

why didn't Atomic sell them as blems... Seems like they could easily do that online at any number of places...

lol.....1900 pairs. he was in pretty deep for sure. its one thing for a few pairs to miss the dumpster and end up in the back of his mini van, but 1900 pairs is a new full time business.

some companies dont want anything but perfect goods on the street, but yeah, i mean, i would be first in line for a good set of skis that the topsheet is mis aligned or something like that. it did say minor blems, and i guess if they were in the base, or edge, and could come back on them, then yeah, dumpster them.
