Fox Racing Shox 32 Float 100 Remote Fit

Control at your fingertips is something engineers have strived to offer throughout mountain biking's short history. From shifting gears, to adjusting suspension, to seat droppers; they have aimed to develop simple and ergonomic switches to control your ride. That's because the performance and safety advantage of a handlebar suspension lockout, like the one found on Fox Racing Shox's 32 Float Remote Fit is undeniable.
Nothing's more nerve-wracking than the moment you're mach-ing down a technical trail only to find out you've left the fork locked out. It's too late to reach down to the crown-your only option is to ride it out or stop. When you're riding with a handlebar remote, this becomes irrelevant.
The 32 Float 100's ergonomic switch uses a lever to move the fork to the locked position, and a button to release it. This ensures that unlocking the fork is easier to do then locking it out. And it prevents the dreaded scenario described above. The cable-activated switch is low profile for maximum compatibility and it's designed to be used on the right side of the bar.
The damper that the remote controls is Fox's FIT unit. This damper employs a bladder to keep air and oil from mixing and negatively affecting performance. Fluid aeration results in a reduced damping, which will cause the fork to lose its ability to control movement.
The FIT damper, unlike open bath dampers, is also inverted. This means the fork's unsprung weight is lower for less inertia to control, resulting in a more sensitive, plusher fork. The Fork uses an air spring that's simple to adjust via the top-cap-mounted Schrader valve. Under the right leg there's an indexed rebound adjustment knob.
To complement the 32 Float 100's stiff magnesium lowers is a 15mm thru-axle and tapered head tube. This gives the fork excellent steering precision and prevents binding and deflection under heavy braking. The Fox Racing Shox 32 Float 100 Remote FIT comes in White with Custom logos, Black with Grey Logos, or White with Black and White Logos.
