Selling a pair of Technica Vento 8 ski boots, size 28.0 (street shoe 10). They were skied less than 20 days. There was one shell modification (1 degree planing) by a professional bootfitter. There are some pads on the liner too which could be easily removed. You'll need footbeds for them.

I've been wondering if I could squeeze my foot into a 28 since my 29.5 boots feel too big...

Yeah, something like that. Yes, before the ride please. uke: Again, there's no footbed in them so you might want to bring something along. The toe box is way too big for me so you might have better luck with them. Pretty soft boot too which might be good for the bumps...
