Spent Friday (1/19) at Bush, Sat. 1/20 at Stowe. Got caught in a blinding storm on the way from Waitsfield to Stowe Sat. night. There is over 12" on the mountain. ropes were dropping everywhere - ski ungroomed stuff 12"+ deep. No BS. Went from Sneakers to Sorel's. The snow in the yard is a few inches shy of my knees. The woods are gonna be cream puffs. The scratchy stuff has almost entirely disappeared on all but the heavily traveled trails. You gotta go....
Yeah, it was damn windy. Lots of windholds at Stowe, People bailed today due to wind, cold, long lift line (at one point only the double was moving.) There is going to be HUGE demand Sunday AM.
The winds should die down on Sunday morning - get up here Sunday or Monday, this stuff is awesome. Bush, BV, MRG, Stowe all big time winners.
More later as a real TR, this is one dog-tired puppy. What a day!
Don't wait. Go!
