Giordana Trade Tre Bande Scatto Jersey - Short Sleeve - Men's
Giordana's Trade line of apparel was developed for cyclists who test their jerseys in the real world, be it daily commuting, training, or weekly racing. Giordana benefits from input from this "real world" testing, and the resulting Trade Tre Scatto Jersey represents this development process to the fullest, as it stands as the refined workhorse jersey of the Giordana line. We say "refined" because it was built to take a beating, yet it was also treated with the same attention to detail that's found in Giordana's top-tier apparel.
For the front and side panels of the jersey, Giordana constructed the Scatto from its Michron fabric. This lightweight material is a professional-grade fabric that wicks and breathes incredibly well. At the back, Giordana applied its two-directional stretch Host Carbon fabric. This location of the jersey was targeted with this FormaRed-borrowed Host Carbon in order to stabilize the rear pockets as you ride. Additionally, the Host Carbon works to effectively block static and rogue atmospheric electrical interference for an increased anaerobic output and a delayed onset of fatigue. Both of these fabrics use a polyester microfiber composition that's been formed with a textured, honeycomb knit. Combined, the materials elevate the Scatto's level of breathability. Concurrently, the jersey's moisture management system has been further enhanced by the lightweight Micromesh material applied to the underarm panels. Now, moisture is rapidly wicked away from the skin and transported to the quick-drying surface of the jersey. As a result, you'll remain dryer, cooler, and more comfortable during long exertions in the saddle.
In terms of fit, the Scatto represents a more relaxed tone in comparison to the rest of the Giordana line. It's still cut in relation to the contoured shape of the body within the cycling position, however, you'll find it less constrictive and more forgiving over long base miles. Securing this fit is Giordana's light elastic at the waistband and cuffs, as well as the stretchy Asteria fabric applied to the shoulder panels.
To store your essentials, Giordana included three ample pockets at the rear. And to increase your visibility to motorists in low-light conditions, the Scatto was treated with reflective accents throughout the jersey.
