I am down there on Wed. Have not skied there myself but I can tell you that my friends report a ton of snow. In North Creek they have about three feet on people's front lawn. Lots of snow.

BTW the snow stick at whiteface is at 3'6". It is in the woods between Northway and Essex. I would say at 2200 feet. Up top I think there is 4ft in those hills.

Careful about tomorrow. they have not got snow in a while. After the wind and cold this weekend I am certain things are pretty firm. The woods are mostly tracked out. Would hate to see you make the trip and get less than stellar conditions. That said there is a lot of snow and a few inches will refresh everything.

We skied Gore Saturday and Sunday MLK weekend and it was skiing great - almost 100% open. We skied the new Cirque Glades 2x on Saturday and again on Sunday and it was much scratchier Sunday . There were still some fresh tracks to be had by pushing the boundaries of various glades and conditions were good over the entire hill.

Good point--have to keep an eye to the sky

Gore's been pretty sweet.

Rumor open from the top with sick conditions, Hawkeye bumped up, almost all of the woods (on the map and off the map) are open and skiable.

Even the Groomers have been rippin'. It seems like every night, they get one inch or so that puts a new coat on the lower mountain and makes for perfect courderoy.

Also, the new terrain is nice. Cirque glades has filled in a bit now (so it has a little more cover), and Echo is a sick bomber.

I've got a little video I can post in the TR section when I bring my camera home next week. 'Till then, Gore is HIGHLY recommended
