Mt Snow and Attitash have certainly seen a big turn around thanks to Peak.

To bad now they pretty much have no care for Crotched.

They did a pretty decent job of cleaning up the crotch a couple of years ago ;) Probably see them give it a bit more luster once the economy turns a bit

Especially now that the Boyd family has moved their base of operations a heck of a lot closer to Crotched than they used to be

I'm just overly disappointed that they recut the old trails at the peak, but after over two years, no lift access. I'd be happy with the surface lift Bradford made mention of. Additionally, I really feel there was a lot of teasing of things they really never intended to do, like reopen some of the trails to the other side, or to even expand a little.

But personally, I've seen a distinct change in the excitement that Crotched had, specifically since they aquired Mt Snow and Attitash. 3 years ago, as soon as they could, they'd start blasting their guns. Last year or two, not so much. They would open in 2 days flat with their main trails. I could go for a night ski, and actually SKI thru the guns blaring.

I can't help but feel that they've put Crotched into 'make us as much money as you can' mode. Either that, or they're hurting something nasty. Either way, for small Mt in southern NH, Pat's has been winning for me.

I actually considered doing NASTAR at Crotched. But damned, 700$ a team at Pats, tickets included, versus $2,400 at Crotched including tickets..

Wish I got a chance to ski the remnants of the CCC trails in that vacinity before they installed the new pod. I am pretty sure that the old CCC trails are in the area of the new trail pod and will likely be either destroyed or incorporated. Not the way I want to cross something off the too do list!
