Arctic blast late next week... for us it means highs in the 40s and lows in the 20s (thats us meaning southern NE... colder in northern NE obviously) that should arrive by next Friday or Saturday! Stay tuned for further updates.

I expect heavy snow, or at least freezing rain and sleet, for the Boston area Sunday week. Not because of any real forecasts, but because I'll be trying to end a 9 hour flight then.

The arctic shot is forecast to enter into the Midwest first and modify before it reaches New England:x . We need that type of weather action in late October with a lower sun angle and hopefully some snowcover in Canada to support more cold air.
