Hermitage/Haystack will be open to the public on Monday Feb 2. $49 plus taxes and fees, so about $57. Includes lunch. Money goes to charity. It's a no brainer for me...

You do not have to live in the Valley or show proof of residence to attend Community Ski Day. Attendance is first-come, first-served.

It is every year, only recently have they opened it up to the general public, not just folks who own property in the immediate area

First time open to non-residents. I'm not sure if prior years it was only Wilmington residents or other surrounding towns. Wilmington owns a lot of the property that the ski area is on. I know the first incarnation of the club agreed to allow some access for Wilmington residents at a reasonable price.
