There is a nice rock off Green Beret you can get some pretty good air. They had an extreme comp a few weeks ago and used it....

The steepest part at Jay is the face chute...

Mannnn that looks like fun! Didn't hit any powder like that this season except 1 day at Breckenridge.

Awww it was a tough year across the board for most places in the US. Snow was down all over really. I put on a trip every year here and this year I was concerned because two weeks prior I had locals telling me im in trouble:roll: There was no way we were going to hike and ride big jay at that time yet alone get in some of the standard glades..

But it always gets snow the timeframe we are there and it ended up we had the best snow (so far, it may not be over) they had up to that point....

Jay has a very unique setup with the "jay cloud", Weather patterns usually help it along around then....basically meaning if they forecast rain it usually snows there...

The above three shots are the past three years exact same timeframe..

We were talking about Jay at the Summit. Someone was saying "You just wake up to 8" you didn't expect". I had to throw a That's What She Said into that.
