To the last of the old school Salomon bindings, the 555. The 555 was replaced by the 727 (more to come about this binding in a later post 
) The 555 was Salomon's flagship in the mid 70's with a MSPR of $105.00, the gold (and later orange) 555 Equipe was a whopping $130.00. Both of these bindings came with safety straps, brakes were $15.00 extra.
