we did inside home improvements this weekend, just because it was too damn hot and humid to do anything outside.

Drink more cold beer, you'll feel better.

What kind of project have you been working on?

Sure does, put in rail road ties, spread 3 tons of blue stone and 3 yards of mulch yesterday. Wouldn't stop until it was done. Wish I had a sweat o meter to see how much fluid I lost.

You know, as much as it sucks working outdoors in such crap weather. Sometimes the indoors work is just as hazardous. We painted / remodeled the master bedroom this weekend. I stubbed a toe big time last night on bedroom furniture that was hanging out in the living room.

The worst is putting in a window A/C unit that will not go in! So F'in hot that your dieing to get the thing in, and a large puddle of sweat under the window where you're trying to get that POS to go in to! DeadHead, you trim your toenails with a chainsaw or something? LoL :-o

I got that one beat. Installed a ceiling fan in my living room Saturday afternoon. Had to go into the attic to install the mounting / electrical box. It must have been 110 to 120 degress up there. Within 5 minutes my clothes were soaked in sweat. Sweat was dripping off my arms and face all over my tools making them slippery. And don't get my started on how great it felt lying there in that F'g attic insulation.

I spent part of Saturday helping a friend do some painting in his house... 2nd coat on the ceiling, 1st coat of primer on the walls... x2 rooms... No A/C or even fans... kicked my ass. Thankfully we went to his family's beach house up at Seabrook after that and relaxed with a few cold ones and some seafood... easily made up for the hard work.

modern day version of tared and feathered. Gotta love that insulation when it starts to itch!
