It was mentioned in the Killington chat room that it is a sausage fest in here. Does this mean that I am the only female in here? I will have to recruit some of the other females in the K chat room to join me here or else I will be outnumbered.

teachski, skiguide, and Lisamarie are all women. There are more on the other boards. Does it really matter...?

Nice to hear there are other women on this board. No it really does not matter but it's nice to have company anyway. :)

You're not alone!

I know that sometimes it feels that way. I know there have been times I have felt like I was the only woman, so it is nice to know that I am not alone here.

In order to welcome any existing and new women to this board, I think I'm going to have to buy them all a beer. So, I'll keep you advised of where I will be skiing or boarding and you can meet me for apres' ski. No, please... hold your thanks. It's the least I can do.

There are scores of females on this bb. Some lurk. Some Post. Some ski. Most hike. We joined dozens of the finest folks I have ever met after the day of Flags on the 48. This event was during the big bash at the Mooseland Grill. Check out the group picture in the gallery. C'mon and join in on the fun next year. In the Spring we meet to have a brainstorming day or two for the upcoming Flags on the 48. Why not join us.

Sex in the City fan? Have you been able to find any ski apres' dives in New England that serves them?

I'm sure that most of the bartenders at Killington will know how to make it since most of their clientele comes from either Boston or New York.

oh boy.... I was just waiting for that to come up... it always does...
one of the reasons I like that picture of me so much (other than the fact that I"m not normally photogenic and it's an awesome pic) is the fact that it's a great guise for keeping Internet stalkers away - I mean they all send emails commenting on the picture, but they'd never be able to pick me out of a ski line just based on that pic!!

sorry to let you down, but I don't exactly look like that in real life...

but I will happily let anyone buy me a beer or a cosmo in any apres ski bar..

I suppose you also could have used a pic of Martha Stewart...that would have worked as well (just kidding)! :D

You know, I had checked out your site before and I was immensly impressed with both the fine layout & all the valuable information. To be totally honest, I never even noticed your picture and I had to go back to see what they were talking about. I don't know what that says about me!

I guess when 50 is in the rear view mirror your priorities change slightly. Of course I'd still buy you the beer though...
