Looks about like it might catch the Gulf Stream up this way.
Hurricanes are one of a variety of things I don't miss about living in Wilmington, NC.

I'll be at the Jersey Shore next week (Monday and Tuesday) and I hope to do some swimming at the beach...we'll have to see... :-?

We need the rain...hasn't rained a drop at my house near Poughkeepsie in nearly 2 full months. My lawn is the last one that hasn't burned out, mostly because I've been letting it grow and keeping it cut longer. I'm even starting to see drops in water pressure from my well.

I would welcome a solid week of steady rain.

Should we get a pounding rain with this system, we might have a landslide or two in the Whites. It's been dry for quite a bit there and the loose, dry soil would move quickly in a deluge. I can't remember a hard water crossing all year.
