Haven't missed a weekend ski day since I started skiing on 12/6. Haven't had a powder day either.

This coming weekend I will have to miss skiing because my oldest son is playing in a college showcase with his soccer team. I don't think LI is going to get alot of snow and even if they do they will blow it off of the turf fields with blowers and play anyway.

So ULLR decides this is the weekend for 3 feet of snow at Hunter.

Not sure how but I definitely have gotten on ULLR's bad side this season.

Really quite bummed out right now.

You and me both. I'm grabbing what I can Wed and Thurs but I have to work Fri and Sat and I'm leaving for Tahoe on Sunday, right after the northeast is supposed to get dumped on. Ouch.

Somehow, I'm not shedding too many tears for you Edd. Tahoe would be a nice consolation.

30" and counting at Hunter.

Business Trip! Film the game and your skiing! Then only watch the game and wait 10 years and pull out the ski video!

Sorry to hear that Jim. Definitely bad timing to say the least. Good luck to your son in his soccer game at least...

Hmmmm...creative. I like your thinking.

Problem is I really do enjoy watching my sons play. And this is a big deal for David for college recruiting purposes.

So I guess my best move is to stop complaining and just enjoy the weekend.

Hey that worked really well.

Can you piss of ULLR again about March 25th-28th??

How was the game by the way??

Heh...as it turns out ULLR was looking out for me.

I didn't realize ULLR would also make it snow in Long Island...they couldn't keep up with the snowfall on the turf fields and had to cancel the tournament.

So I hightailed it up to Hunter for the best 2 days of skiing there I have ever had. I should never have lost faith in the snow god who has never left me in the lurch.

I'll try to "piss" ULLR off again for 3/25-28, but beware I'm going to be up in Maine then so that's where the big snowfall will be this time.

I certainly hope you are right about the 25th to the 28th!
