MTBing a few times a week, when it rains, WW kayaking is THE SHIT. Go buy a boat now, It what you wnat powder to be. Beginner rock climber/boulderer, but really love that too. Dual Sport Moto...great way to scout rivers w/o burning 50 bucks in gas, and there are some great ride-to climbs on the moto as well. Basically just being outdoors emersed in nature and away from civilization as much as possible, preferably scaring myself a bit and going fast as hell theu the woods every once in a while.

Golf around 3 times a week, run the local creek in my kayak when their is enough water. When i get the opportunity to go to the beach home I like doing absolutely nothing, or riding my awesome moped, you see in my avatar, or taking the kayak out into the surf and showing up all of the surfers.

Music. In fact, prior to discovering my passion for the ski industry and CMC's SAO program, I was gearing up for auditions at several music conservatories. Jazz Studies was what I was looking at. I just love to play jazz. When I'm not skiing (or doing some project related to the industry), I'm probably playing some random instrument. Trumpet, Trombone, Euph, Piano, Bass, Organ, Guitar, you name it (as long as it isn't a double reed  ).

Other outdoor activities I enjoy: hiking, biking, etc.

Given that it's still February, I find this thread quite pessimistic. I plan to ski every weekend at least through the end of April if somebody is spinning their lifts.

There's always my August ski trip to Chile. I had to cancel last year and they let me roll my deposit to this summer. I've already booked flights on frequent flyer points.

Off season, I row my dingy, ride my mountain bike to the office most days, and try to hike up and down at least 1500 feet of vertical once per week. If I'm at Killington, I'll hike a ski trail or one of the hiking trails. If I'm home, I'll drive an hour to the Belnaps and hike around Gunstock. I'll occasionally do very unagressive mountain biking that can better be described as "Lawn Biking". I have a reconstructed shoulder and have no interest in going over the handlebars. I have a 24' power boat to play with where I pretend to catch fish while consuming alcohol and drive around aimlessly at high speed. I usually grow about 50 tomato plants. My golf clubs are safely stored in the cellar and haven't emerged from the bag in 8 years. There's a Red Sox game on pretty much every day and I usually get sucked into that several times per week. Summer is also for re-connecting with friends who get totally blown off the other 6 months.

WTF? You've never heard the jazz oboe before? You're missing out my friend.

No tuba? Jazz tuba rocks. Even better than Marc's wimpy jazz oboe. Oboes are for sissies.

RIP Bill Barber. Long live George Clinton!

I would be home waiting to die ...
Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Though wise men at their end know dark is right,
Because their words had forked no lightning they
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright
Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight,
And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way,
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight
Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

And you, my father, there on the sad height,
Curse, bless me now with your fierce tears, I pray.
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
