well, the seasons are a changin' - making plans to continue our assault on the 48 4,000's but thinking that fun 1/2 day trip might include canoe trip(s) on Pemi - interested from woodstock to Plymouth/Bristol area - put in/take outs - flow, class, etc. thanks.

I kayaked the Pemi from Lincoln into Woodstock about five (?) years ago, but I do not remember it well. It was a lot of fun, but it is challenging, and being young at the time I often needed assistance. I recommend going in August because the water is very cold in July. Also, while you're there, swim at one of the local "swimming holes," there are many along the river.

Pemi....

The Pemi is a beautiful stream/river. It should be a great time.
Angus....npmb.com, MountWashington Valley Paddlers(site?), and local NH branch of AMC should have plenty of info & contacts.
