We just stayed at their new Tram Haus Lodge for $99PP including lift tickets. If they still offer that deal grab it. It's slopeside luxury for just a few bucks more than staying in a cheap motel 25 minutes away. Plus the units have a small but adequate kitchen so you can save buckage by bringing some food.

I saw something about it on their site, but I called the 800 #.

I think if you go to their facebook page there might be some info or a code or something. If you call and ask about it they'll probably give you the rate if they are still offering it.

How cheap you need? Dirt cheap rooms in Montgomery at Granpa Grunts at the bottom of 242. A room for four could be had for about $80 or so, as I recall. Rowdy place on the weekend but pretty relaxed during the week.

If you are looking for something a little more upscale, Jay has really good on mountain deals mid-week so I would recommend checking in with their reservation phone line and asking what is the best they can offer you.

I stayed at the North Troy Inn last year. It was okay, but there are other B&B choices near Jay.

If the trails at Jay are all hardpack, drop into the glades - snow stays there really well. You can hear hooping & hollering from people playing in the glades. Jay used ot be my mountain.. I've skied many weeks there. If you have good snow & weather it's truly great.

Yeah, Jay's been running some killer deals for the new lodge. Follow 'em on Twitter for the latest.

Last Monday they just decided to give away 7 passes for Tuesday to the first 7 who wanted them. I was already scheduled with a media day at Mt. Snow, so no dice for me, but as of Tuesday morning, they still had 2 to give away. Definitely worth following.

We got a room at the hotel for 4 of us...
Came out to about $95(us) a day per person - with breakfast, Dinner and tickets...
Outstanding deal!!!!

Looks like DMC found the one area between two trails at Jay that does not have any skiable woods based on his Canyonland description in the other thread. I have hacked my way through there looking for pay dirt and it just ain't there. :spin:

yeah... i suck... But I thought they were fun... This was actually a few trees into the woods from where it has more traffic... it was also when the Tram was closed.. We rode that chair a lot..
We found the snow in that area to be really good... Lots of the more popular woods had hardpack underneath... Not on this aspect.. We explored the whole piece..

We were also diggin the "fingers" dropping in near Deliverance.
